We are longtime gamers and TTRPGers. We love getting creative with our campaigns and trying out different systems and settings. But when we've tried to upgrade our stuff to a digital platform so everything can run more smoothly, we've run into problems. Many of today's TTRPGs, including the heavyweights, struggle to create a product that has the freedom of a tabletop game with the specificity needed for the tech.

But what if we started from a digital base rather than doing a conversion? What if the rules are clear, consistent, and systematic? And what if this game had no barriers to entry, no restrictive licensing, and welcomed community input? The market leaders have dropped the ball, and we, the tabletop gaming community, have the chance to pick it up!
